Monday morning: life and works of Em

Blank stares at the long list of things to do (which is looking very much like a messily eaten lunch with random looking ticks, crosses and notes in inks blue, black and red), a busy office desk with scattered papers that needs working through (that too after we allegedly went ‘paperless’), white cat hair on my black pants (now… where’s there lint cleaner?!), the Melbourne cold making the skin peel off from my manicured fingers (not as pretty anymore), the leg muscles squeaking and protesting the work they had to put themselves through when I made them go biking in our super hilly suburb….

I guess the bones need some more oiling and some rust is still there…. and the biking this weekend was just a first step. I do hope there’s still hope for me :)

So yea, as I was saying, welcome to my Monday morning. Here I am getting on with life and wishing I could do the weekend all over again; but then who isn’t? After all- I don’t live for work, rather I work so that I can ‘live’ the way I’d like to; too bad weekends don’t last long enough.

Still a l-o-o-ong way to go; but I’ll probably ‘make’ it after all?

… or at least die trying?…
