Who am I and what can you expect to read here:
1. Daily routines of an ordinary nobody, sometimes doing extraordinary things. Just sometimes, though. My life is pretty regular otherwise…
2. It’s mostly light reading- I tend to screw up while trying to say serious stuff- that doesn’t mean that I don’t try saying. I sometimes do. I guess- if my life were a novel, you’d probably like to read it on your way to work- in a public transport- just something light to fill your times with. I like beng taken seriously- but this is not too bad either. I’m not fussy about how you see me. It’s your business. Just as it’s my business how I see you.
3. I am originally from South Asia- Bangladesh, to be precise. I am a very strong Bangladeshi; and in case you were wondering- No, it is NOT a part of India. It is an independent country which separated from Pakistan in 1971. I am out of Bangladesh for years now. I live in Australia for the last few years and call it my second home.
4. I hate generlization of any kind. There may be times I am guilty of it- but I also tend to correct myself promptly. I belong to many communities which are victims of generalization. I am vocal about their short-comings- but I loathe it when people generalize.
5. I read a lot of online journals. I do not expect reciprocation. I use Google Reader- and frequently subscribe (and unsubscribe) to random strangers’ blogs. If you have a ‘public’ blog, I’d assume automatically that you don’t mind anyone reading it. I believe in drama-free reading. There should not be any obligation in online reading.
[PS: If you'd like to recommend a blog to me, please leave a comment and I'll check it out]
6. I am a cat person. I spend many hours of my day with my cat, Sherkhan. I think cats make the best companion if you like your pets to have some ‘personality’ of their own. That does not mean that I do not like dogs. I like dogs a lot too.
7. I do not have many friends, only a few good ones. I like it this way.
8. I am shy and reclusive. I prefer keeping to myself and not participate. I see nothing wrong in that.
9. I prefer to stay anonymous over the www-land.
10. I prefer to keep my opinions to myself most of the times. I gather it’s okay to differ and people to lead their lives as they please. I never thought I’d have to push my opinions down someone’s throat… this applies to you too. Please do not try to push yours down mine
11. I find it harder to forgive, than forget. That does not mean I forget easily. I’m working on it.
12. I am an atheist. I respect your right to faith- but I expect the same from you about my (right to lack of) faith.
Okay, that’s it! Hope you enjoy your stay. Cheers!

I love your site. Keep it up !
I found your blog via your submission to the Carnival of the Beginning Writers. I really enjoyed your blog. It’s so refreshing.
Thank you!
I’m glad you like it. It’s been nothing more than a hobby/ necessary distraction for me, but it never fails to make me very happy when someone says that he/she likes my blog
